We’ve found that you get the most accurate forecast if you combine windguru and meteo forecast for the N/E Aegean (not Limnos, as Keros beach picks up a stronger seabreeze).
Wind Patterns
The meltemi usually starts early in the morning and is at peak between 10:00 and 15:00. Usually around 15:30 the wind shifts to NW (side-offshore) and drops down a bit, making it perfect for beginners or for enjoying the turquoise colors of Keros bay. The wind tends to be 2-3 knots stronger in front of Surf Club Keros due to the Venturi effect created by a nearby hill.
