The Spot

Surf Club Keros is located on Keros beach, an extraordinary 2 mile beach with crystal clear turquoise shallow waters on the east coast of the island. You couldn't possibly ask for a safest place to windsurf or kitesurf, whether you are experienced or a complete beginner.

What is unique about Keros, is that it combines a flat section on the north side, and a wave section on the south side of the same bay. You can reach both sides by going upwind/downwind for about 5 minutes, or if you are lazy, make it a 2min car drive. The sandy beach is completely friendly, and the bay extensively wraps around you, making it almost impossible to get into trouble. The bay relatively shallow, making it a great place to learn beach-starts.

We have it all: Ultra flat section for slalom and speed freaks or freestyle kitesurfing, a bump and jump section for crazy freeriders, and a mini-wave break for riding and pulling of big airs on the good days.

Wind usually starts early in the morning and is at peak between 10:00 and 15:00. Usually around 15:30 the wind shifts to NW (side-offshore) and drops down a bit, making it perfect for beginners or for enjoying the turquoise colors of Keros bay.
