Learn to Kitesurf in Limnos, Greece

Our school carries the latest equipment in kitesurfing and windsurfing. You can count on this, because we want to enjoy our equipment when we use it on our time off!

Kitesurfing Lessons

Surf Club Keros teaches by the International Kitesurfing Organization (IKO) guidelines. Giannis and Rick (school owners and head instructors) are IKO Level 2 instructors, and every instructore here at Surf Club Keros has at least and IKO Level 1 Instructor Certificate. which means we have great experience with students, and have spent hundreds of hours in the water. We can teach in Greek and English.

Safety

Safety is the biggest issue for a begginer in kitesurfing. Keros beach in Limnos is one of the safest kitespots in Greece. The wind is cross-shore, sandy and shallow, and there are no powerlines or hazardous obstacles within reach. Also by having specified special kitesurfing zones, and by having our rescue boat on standby at all times, we aim in keeping incidents to zero.

Kitesurfing Equipment and Rentals

For 2010 we choose to ride and teach with Cabrinha Kites. Being market leaders and having one of the best teams in the kitesurfing industry, safety, performance and durability are guaranteed.
We are stoked to have a full range of the new Cabrinha kites and boards. If you are a complete beginner or a pro, it doesn’t matter, we have the right stuff for you. We have most sizes of Convert, Switchblade and Nomad kites, Plasma, Caliber and Custom boards. Also don’t forget to try out the S-Quad for some surf-style kitesurfing in the waves!

We are authorized to sell Cabrinha, North Kites, Ion, West, and Mystic Wetsuits, Mystic and Dakine Harnesses. As you will find out, prices in Greece are probably the cheapest in Europe regarding kitesurfing equipment. In our shop you will also find anything you need: Board shorts, Sun Screen, Surf Club Keros t-shirts, etc.

Extra Activities

In our school we have extra goodies to spice up your holidays: rent a surfboard and catch some waves, try out a SUP (stand up paddle surf), go on a cruise in a sea kayak, ride one of our mtb’s, or practice moves on our 3m trampoline.
